love any and all hype that promotes hydrocarbon substitution to meet our energy needs, but lets please only talk about alternative energy sources on a full lifecycle cost basis (total cost of ownership), that includes recycling considerations
we gotta replace those solar panels every 20-30 years and we often can't make good use of those materials, at least within a reasonable cost to do so
