Fascinating read, especially the "Because Twitter has monetized so ineffectively and developed product so slowly, it’s avoided some of the reputational damage its competitors face." Also, am slowly picking up on the Galloway dunking on Twitter. Quick question, but would you consider Facebook and its relationship to say Pinterest in the world of advertising to be similar in tone to Twitter's with Substack/Clubhouse?

Terrific stuff Packy. What are your thoughts on how Twitter could reduce friction for substack users like yourself? What would it take for you to port your newsletter over to Twitter/Revue?

I imagine a sign-up bonus of sorts would help to poach many substack users who are on the margin in terms of earning some revenue from their writing. And an easy 1-click equivalent transfer would probably go a long way too.
